~ LE PARADIS DES yUnEr ~

I'm back to SGH 4 clinicals after 1 yr. I'm a little wee bit more cautious dis time nt to do anything seriously wrong or say da wrong stuffs coz i'm workin here next time! Haha... I've been posted to A&E dis wk. SGH A&E gave me da impression of nutting much to do da last time i was there. Way too borin coz all we did was sit n stare into blank space. But dis wk is busier compared to last time. But nt as bz when compared to GIC. Actually i like da pace coz da cases aren't dat many 4 us to rush yet there r constantly cases to do. We'll gt to sit 4 a few mins here n there but nt 4 too long. Kinda like it dis way. At least wun make me fall aslp or make me so uptight abt clearin cases like in GIC. Did only 1 competency dis wk. Shu Hui commented it seems like it's gttin worse collectin competencies coz we simply can't find da 1s we nid! Haha... I wanna do 7 dis block. Dun wanna touch those nt taught yet. Nid to do case study as well so i guess i'll devote more time to case study.

Eh i guess i wun comment much 4 SGH to avoid unnecessary trouble in future. Haha... Being too cautious eh? Bleh =P. But i still muz say da ppl there r really nice n willing to gif us chance to learn! N best part is they really allow us to handle da patients on our own lah den cmin in to check centerin pt b4 shootin. N we r always being entertained by chatty seniors! Haha... Wun gt bored juz dat we dun haf time to finish listenin to those stories.

Simi n i went to Kopitiam to buy our lunch n when we were ready to leave wif our packed food, we turned ard n saw dis lady collapsed on da floor. I thot she slipped n fell but came to realise dat her head bled quite a lot. A doc n another staff were beside her n i felt useless there so i juz went away. We r nt docs anyway so there's nutting much dat we can do. Abit heartless but dat's da truth ma. We din hear any commotion b4 she collasped but i'm still tryin to figure out wat happened to her. I mean if u fall n ur head landed on da floor, u shldn't be bleedin dat much. It was like a puddle of blood on da floor lor. N most impt thing is dat da floor is flat n smooth. Y so much bleedin den? We saw dis lady after lunch. She came in to do a CT scan. We helped to transfer n i saw how profusely she was bleedin. I duno wat dat sheet is called but it was suppose to absorb blood n prevent blood frm seepin n stainin da bed sheet. But it din work coz thererwas simply too much blood n it stain a large patch of da bedsheet. I was disgusted n felt sorry 4 her. I'm still tryin to figure out wat happened to her coz i din gt to ask abt it or c da case sheet. We went out n gt bz wif our cases after dat. Gosh!

TUE
Nutting much to comment abt 4 dis day except dat we saw dis weird uncle who kept callin me xiao mei mei n lookin at me in a weird manner while we were walkin towards hseman canteen. I cldn't be bothered wif him coz i knew he wasn't tryint o ask 4 directions. Dis China doc came today n asked to look ard. Man i muz say he's v.funny coz i accompanied senior to assist in translatin to him in chi. Luckily we were wearin masks so i can luff behind my mask. Haha... Ok dat's bad of me but well, i cldn't control it! Haha...

WED
There's dis guy who's as old as my eldest sis came 4 xray at A&E. After we were done, i pushed him out n he asked a weird qn: Does the hospital only hire pretty girls like u? I was stunned but i managed to smile n say dat i was only a student. N i thot he wld leave it there. But he asked yet another qn: So u r in U or poly? Ok obviously i ans poly n went away. How cme i kip mittin weird ppl dis wk?
