~ LE PARADIS DES yUnEr ~

It's been a long time since i last blogged. Everyday is so tirin dat i'll take a nap till 10 to wake up n haf my dinner n watch tv. Let's tok abt clinicals over at TTSH.

Mon
I thot we wld be briefed like da time we 1st went there but in da end there wasn't any. We were juz told where we were posted to. I was posted to inpatient for 3 days frm mon to wed. Dis time it's a little diff coz i was posted there alone. Argh. At least there was Ervin to acc last time. Time was diff to pass in da morning when there's no ppl to tok to u n there's no case. U'll really feel like a SLO (space occupyin lesion). Anyway, Adeline's still da in charge there n she's still as nice though she seldom tok to me. She allows me to do cases most of da time n teaches me things when da films r out. I went to ask whether i can change over to outpatient so dat i can collect my competencies since da only student posted there was on MC for 2 days. Den they juz found excuses to make me stay at inpatient. Same thing happened to Daphne too. But her case is worse since she has like 28 competencies to collect. Wat's wrong man? Y post only 1 student to outpatient when it's like da busiest department? N they ridiculously posted 3 students to ED. Wonderful.

Tue
Morning was quiet as usual until juz b4 lunch time. After i came back frm lunch, i decided to go portable instead da radiographer at inpatient 4 noon duty is v.nice n friendly. Da radiographer i went wif was a guy who looks v.dao n always mumbles when he toks. I saw him da last time i was there at inpatient too n da impression of him wasn't gd. Dis time round, he intiated da conversation n asked me to go along 4 protables wif him. He's quite a nice guy lah juz dat sumtimes i can't catch wat he's sayin. Haha... We went for 2 rounds of portables n it's time 4 me to go hme. Time flies when u r bz. It's bad dat we can't collect next yr's competencies coz he said he can help me sign mine 4 portable n praised me! Haha...

Wed
I thot i'ld be able to go portables again but i din coz da radiographer on duty wasn't a nice guy. i thot it was only me who din like him but i realised dat a few of da rest of them havin clinicals wif me din like him too. He's a pretty weird guy i muz say. Frm my impression of him, he likes to put ppl down n always tinks he's v.gd. He always wan ppl to follow his way of doin things but he failed to realise dat each n everyone of us has a diff style n way of doin things. So dun force ppl to do things ur way lah like ur way is da only correct way.

Thurs
I was posted to IVU for 2 days. 1st time being under dis v.senior radiographer n i thot he's nt nice. But i was wrong. Although he's nt really dat nice, i still felt comfortable workin wif him. He'll observe u 4 a while b4 he lets u do most of da stuffs. At 1st i did only da KUBs (control, after release n post mict). Den he told me to do kidneys too which includes da tomogram. I oso did da bladder view! Yeah. So fun! I din noe there r so many IVUs in a day. I even heard dat they once did 15 IVUs juz in da morning alone wif only 1 radiographer in charge n 2 radiographic tables availabe 4 use.

Fri
I ended my wk in a v.pissful manner. I was pissed coz dis radiographer (same as da 1 i tok abt on wed) went to ask things abt me frm my radiographer n Daphne. Luckily Daphne came n told me. I tink he's quite fake coz he may be tokin behind ur back but smilin at u at da next moment. Or perhaps he doesn't like me only lah. Sigh. I hope da evaluation form wun fall into his hands. If nt my evaluation 4 these 2 wks will be bad. Sap, Daphne n me will be goin ED next whole wk. I nid to collect ALL my remainin 6 competencies there due to da "well arranged postin". Sigh. I seriously tin i wun be able to collect any over at AMK Community Hospital n KK lah. Everything is goin da wrong way. Sigh. After being so pissed off, Mr Ho gave me a scare when he called to say he cldn't find my clinical bk n case study. Luckily he realised dat it was juz a miscommunication coz he din go n collect my file frm da assignment box. N to tink i repeatedly asked him abt it. Haha... He's so blur lah.

My mum was havin severe stomach pain intermittently for 2 consecutive days. She even had bloody stools. We persuaded her 4 a v.long time b4 she finally agreed to go to da hospital. Da blood was frm da colon n they found out dat there's sum growth there. I duno da details yet coz i went to gt Liping's bday present n after dat to her bday celebration. I juz hope it's nutting bad lah. Argh.

I met Maurice n Jun up at Bugis to gt da present. It was pretty last min coz every1 was too bz to gt it. We gt her a bag frm Tomato Can though i seriously tink we can gt a nicer bag frm Bugis Street at a cheaper price but we din haf dat much time to shop ard le. It's a pretty nice bag n i'm tinkin of gttin it 4 myself too. Haha... There were so many things to c yet so little time coz we were rushin off to her celebration le. Sigh. I wanna go shoppin! Made arrangements wif Sap to go shoppin after work on mon le. Hurray! I wanna buy everything!! Haha...
