~ LE PARADIS DES yUnEr ~

Eerie things haf been happenin to Rm 2 these few days. 1st was da case i said nt too long ago, abt me positionin a patient 4 chest n da apices were chopped off. Me n Simi confirmed dat we din push da bucky so low to chop off so much of dat patient's lungs. 2ndly, we positioned a patient 4 lumbar spine n we really did center da tube to da table bucky. But da AP turned out da other way round. Dis is really puzzlin. Da lateral turned out to be fine! Duh. 3rdly, we did da AP, lateral, skyline n standin knee 4 both legs 4 dis man. Our left lateral went missin n we found 2 right laterals! Taken exactly at da same time (how can dat be!) but 1 radiograph showed a fractured patella but nt on da other radiograph! Both right markers were seen, but nt at da same position. If it were sum1 else's knee, how can it be dat it's under da same folder n taken at da same time right up to da sec?! We swear we din take da same knee twice coz we told da patient to turn n Simi even went out to gt da B cassette. So it's really nt likely dat we were so blur. Anyway, da patient did tell me he's gt operation on his left knee b4. So it's unlikely we put da wrong marker too coz both radiographs showed no signs of TKR! Dat patient went to c da doc w/o da films n da doc sent him back coz he cldn't assess his films via computer as well. Da poor man went 4 lunch at 1+ coz he said he din eat anything since 9+. But he was so kind! Din pull a long face or blame us 4 anything! But we found his left lateral eventually (dun ask me how we found it coz it popped out of nowhere) but we still nid to take another lateral view of his right knee coz we still cldn't figure out which right knee was his. Nobody complained of missin a right lateral knee too! Dis poor man had to take another chest x-ray coz da doc ordered 4 him. We did it but his lungs were so long dat da costophrenic angle was chopped off on da right side! Argh. Really haf to say dat dis uncle is so nice. Depsite takin up so much of his time n havin to do repeats twice, he was still smilin n said thank u to us! We felt so bad den. Sorry uncle!

Saw a few scoliosis x-ray being done today. Was actually at Rm 6 wif Shueling n Venice but i went 4 lunch tog wif Simi n gang, so we came back a little earlier den Venice n gang n i went over to help Simi. Den they nv came back to dis rm to do again. Ervin was suppose to be wif Simi in Rm 2 while Shirlene in Rm 1, Venice was wif me in Rm 6. They all went to Rm 6 after lunch lah. Did quite a few lumbar spine today. Finally gt nice lateral liao! Haha... N AP straight too! Yeah! But still din gt to position 4 thoracic. Rashidah parctically left da rm 4 me n Simi to do all da x-rays on our own. Quite a nice feelin although sumtimes we were nt sure on whether we've positioned correctly anot. Gt sort of scolded by a patient's mum today. She was angry over havin to wait so long after da x-ray was done coz it's was da scoliosis case. Rashidah had to stitch up da 2 x-rays, 1 4 cervical, 1 4 thoracic, taken at da same time to make a complete view. Perhaps it's their 1st time here takin dis x-ray ba. Coz they ought to noe scoliosis x-rays take time to be processed. Anyway, da mum gt angry coz da patients after them left wif their films n they still nid to wait. Rashidah went out totok to them n da patient's father looked into her eyes n asked her whether they can trust her wif her technique anot. Rashidah came back n told us she looked back into his eyes n assured him dat he can. Wow. I guess i wun be able to do dat man. It's nt our fault anyway wat. Who ask ur daughter to haf scoliosis? Oops.

I tink i'm havin lots of empathy 4 old chinese ladies coz they juz resembles my gdma so much. Can't help but to care 4 them more. Guess dat's a gd thing ba.

Michael asked to c us at 1 tml. Omg! Wonder wat he wans dis time. Shld be da tutorial session they had been tokin abt ba. Muz gt prepared to ans his qns le. So we'll be able to go 4 lunch at da same time at 12. Yeah!
