2nd day @ MAH. Tink da staffs there r gttin friendlier as time goes by. All except 1 i tink. Da 1 who seemed so unfriendly is Lilian. I duno wat's wrong wif her but she seems like she doesn't like us to be there, doesn't wan us to learn frm her etc. Sigh. There's really little patients takin x-ray today. Every1 seems so relaxed n nutting to do. We too, had nutting to do until a few of them taught us how to operate da machines. I even had da chance to position a patient 4 wrist x-ray. Abit clumsy though coz i thot it was a hand x-ray. Saw them doinm y-scapula projection today. Tink they v.lihai coz i always thot it's diff to c da Y in da x-ray, wif da shaft of humerus superimposin da body of scapula.

We went into da MRI center today. 1st time seein da real MRI machine although i din gt to c how it functions. Da patient doin da MRI is a 90 yrs old lady. All of a sudden i felt so emotional coz she reminded me of my gdma. Cldn't hold back my tears but i tink nobody saw coz i wiped away quickly.

We saw da CT scannin machine too. It looks abit like washin machine coz it's spinnin inside. Duno how exactly to explain lah. Haha... We can c all these coz we went to help da patients move over frm their ward beds to da bed in da machines. They were nt v.mobile.

Did abit of da assignment today. It's gt to do wif da hierarchy of da dept n da layout of da dept. Took down da names of each of da staffs workin there n briefly drew out da layout of da whole dept. I still duno which 1 of these 2 qns to choose frm coz muz take da 1 wif more things to write. Nid at least 2000 words lor. Where to find so much rubbish to say? Haha... N i still haf to write a 2000 words reflection of dis clinical block as well. But i tink dis 1 no prob lah since i can say so much here. Haha...

Da shoes r hurtin my feet so much lor. Sigh. No choice lah. U noe my fren told me we dun haf to wear until so formal wif long sleeves shirts lor. But den it's cold there lah so i will wan to wear long sleeves too. Hmm, she said she even wore no sleeves de b4. But i was tinkin dat if our teacher cmes by to grade us anytime, we'll gt lower marks man. So beta dun take da risk.

Tink i'm prepared to try out chest x-ray after observin so many of da chest x-rays today. Dat's like 80% of all da cases today lor. Haha... i'm plannin to gt 2 to 3 competency cases over here at MAH den do da rest of them at SGH coz my fren told me SGH will haf more cases to do. Hmm, actually i wld rather haf things to do den to slack ard coz it's diff to kip me awake when there's nutting to do. But da prob is they wun be able to teach us when there r so many cases to finish. Another thing is SGH is a government hospital, MAH is a private hospital. So i tink ppl at MAH expected professionals to do 4 them coz they r payin much more 4 quality stuffs, whereas there r subsidised patients n more of da lower class ppl, so they wun expect so much frm us ba. Haha... I truely hope i'm rite.

K lah so much 4 today. Gonna save da pics in my fone to save memory to take fotos in da hospital 4 my assignment tml le. Hope tml will be a beta day...
